Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026. This page is maintained by the StudyFlow AI team and describes how the app handles your information. It is not an independent certification or audit.
What we collect
Account data: your email address, display name and preferred study language.
Study content: notes you upload (images and PDFs) and the explanations, flashcards and plans generated from them.
Activity data: streaks, XP, completed tasks and feedback you submit, including optional screenshots.
On-device data: reminders, theme choice and app preferences stored in your browser's local storage.
Why we use it
To generate your explanations, flashcards, planners and analytics; to keep you signed in; to send the reminders you schedule; and to fix bugs you report.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your notes for advertising.
AI processing
When you request an explanation or flashcards, the content of the note you selected is sent to our AI provider to produce the result. It is processed to fulfil your request and returned to your account.
Storage and access
Your files and records are stored on our managed backend with row-level security rules, so each account can only read its own rows and its own uploaded files.
Your controls
From Settings → Data & privacy you can export a copy of your data or clear the study data stored on this device.
To request deletion of your account and its stored content, email support@studyflow.ai.
Children
StudyFlow AI is intended for students aged 13 and above. If you're younger, please use it with a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Continued use of StudyFlow after an update means you accept the revised policy.
